I think your Substack stuff is terrific.

Just a tip: I have no time to spare, and there's already way too much online audio to hear, so don't add to my problem by offering up a 1 hour 40 minute podcast. I think it's important to cut to the chase by excerpting only brief sections of any long podcast. Few people will spend 1 hour 40 minutes to listen to a podcast about/by Kwon Lee or any other unknown person.

abbreciate the feedback....but are there really pods out there that are just excerpts of longer convos? I can't think of any

also i couldnt do that even if i wanted to as I don't have even close to enough time. But maybe in the future if I can ever afford an editor.

i am considering paywalling the pod tho

Might be better for you to paywall, since those who spend their money might (but I doubt it) spend their time, just to get their money's worth.

It takes time to scale the wall between the left-sanctioned known and the often feared “unknown” firebrands that erupt to righteously-disrupt the under-pinning of any established corrupt participation filtering narrative. Smart people stack their time where it generates a positive ROI. Taking the time to get acquainted with young artists like Author Kwon Lee are worth every minute and then some..

Our world has a lot of problems; young Mr. Lee, IMO, is demonstrating with the intentional self controlled conduct of his life, he’s part of the solution.

I'll take that as a lecture, ill-advised.

A relevant perspective. “Take it ...” anyway you want.

Having expressed, you “have no time to spare,” I’m kind of surprised you actually took the time to “take it” at all. Thank you.

Live and learn sister..

Enjoy the day! 😎

Nope. I don't listen. I read. Thank-you for the synopsis. I'm very glad that he stood for honor and integrity. Both something VERY lacking these days.

Not smart on your part.

Not even clever, which may be what you intended.

Just snark, thin-skinned, defensive and stubborn snark.

And quite dumb!

Prepare to be lectured by Mr Shaw for choosing to manage your time as you think appropriate.

Lots, if not most, online writers digest lengthy pods. It's just good editing and smart marketing.

Be empirical. Look!

Do you mean they digest the pod in the pod episode? or they put the clips elsewhere? I'm genuinely curious to understand what you mean.

It would appear (insert applicable pronoun) meant to redirect focus away from your guest and his message. Goal was likely to deter and shut-down any thoughtful conversation between people that might dare delve deeper into Author’s emerging counter-batshit-crazy culture story. By the looks of it, only a few days out, she’s succeeding: Mood-shift from successful young conservative artist to podcast structure critique to 🦗🦗🦗, right out of the gate. The Left are masters of the con, don’t let any of them so-easily pop-a-cork in your bottle.

You mentioned an ugly fence ruining the beauty of the Colorado bridge: Tip🤣: Be on-guard for “ugly fence”equivalents being first and hastily sub-stacked under your Podcast posts. Just like the marred beauty of an old bridge and natural views sullied by a chain link filter, their un-checked presence effectively dilutes further fair consideration of the content and messages within your work.

Paladin misunderstands how most people listen to podcasts. Doing dishes, long commutes, riding a bicycle. It’s more convenient. Reading interview transcripts is excruciating.
