I'll be frank, this is why I subscribed to carousel. This is great and inspired writing. More stuff like this. I just don't have time for yet another pod cast. I live your writing style and that is why I subscribed, not for podcasts

Capitalism without guardrails is unabashed tyranny. How there are millions still who remain willfully blind to this simple math is inexplicable.

Makes sense. The only people who still watch TV are dying boomers.

People that old will never buy another car or house, and aren't worth much as brand-loyalists since they'll soon be gone.

The last gasp of television is slinging drugs.

I noticed this in the early 2000’s, it was almost overnight, it went from food commercials to pharmaceutical drug commercials. All the happy people living their normal happy lives while the announcer read off the list of myriad side effects, but they never told you what the drug was for!

One morbid thing I noticed was “ sudden instances of death may occur “ ok, I’m sold. Then came the “ new and improved “ formula with a “ reduced chance of death” WOW - a 25% less chance of death! I’m calling my doctor RIGHT NOW before supplies run out!!!

Remember, every drug recalled by the fda was APPROVED by the fda.

A patient cured is a patient lost!

"...on Covid care (virtually all of which turned out to be completely useless)."

Completely useless? Well that by itself is true, but that is your ONE phrase for what those treatments turned out to be in January 2024? All of the evidence of '22, of '23, and the beginnings of it in '21, evidence of WIDESPREAD--as in several millions world deaths minimum widespread--CV-19 VAX HARMS just do not and will not figure into your vocabulary?

What are you, yet another SUPSERVATIVE?

For the def. of supservative, see "My Covid/Vax Disaster Lexcion" on my stack. https://pomocon.substack.com/p/my-covidvax-disaster-lexicon?utm_source=profile&utm_medium=reader2 And if you actually do use your podcasts and writings to call attention to the story of the century, link away, and I apologize for too quickly assuming the worst. But it's bad out there...very bad. Lots of right-wing guys who try to brand themselves as tough and edgy conservatives are total sups.
