Cioran (The Temptation to Exist) said "Are we but ham actors of wisdom and madness?" In the Trump era, I've noticed that "the go-to coping mechanism for the Republican base is violence." And... "The southern evangelical churches are front organizations for the Ku Klux Klan."
I love hearing about the violence that the right doesn't commit, but is SURELY thinking about committing, and why "Our Democracy" needs to commit violence against them before they commit it against us! Because they're thinking about it! They haven't done it yet, but they're gonna! Which is why we need to kill them all and arrest their party officials. To preserve "Our Democracy".
I gotta be real, buddy. I liked the Nazi and Soviet flavor of autocracy better. They weren't fat and ugly like ours are. Dressed better, too.
